Widows Ministry
At the heart of Echoes of Mercy Mission lies a deep commitment to walking alongside widows, honoring their strength, and empowering them to build a future of hope and self-reliance for themselves and their families. We believe in transforming vulnerability into resilience through a holistic model of spiritual growth and practical support.
Our Guiding Principles
Through the Echoes of Mercy Mission Widows Outreach, by God’s grace, the ripple effects of this obedience has reached more than 60,000 widows with the Gospel and discipled through our conferences, weekly Bible studies, and intentional follow-up.
Our Strategy
-
Evangelism & Discipleship
Our purpose is to proclaim Christ and raise disciples. Our weekly Bible studies, monthly prayer gatherings, and annual conferences create space to sit under God’s word, grow in faith, and witness salvation and spiritual renewal among widows and their households. We believe transformed hearts lead to transformed homes and communities.
-
Economic Empowerment
We equip widows to fish, we don’t just place fish on the table. Through training, mentorship, and small business start-up funds, women gain the skills and confidence to thrive in the marketplace. This pathway restores dignity, strengthens self-reliance, and creates sustainable provision for children and dependents.
-
Food Distribution
Because many widows face daily vulnerability, we provide monthly food baskets to women. This consistent support reduces the pressure of hand-to-mouth living, complements harvests from small farms, and stabilizes families. So mothers can focus on spiritual growth, work, and their children’s well-being.
-
Shelter Project
We identify, train, and empower local leaders who understand their community's unique culture and challenges, ensuring long-term sustainability and relevance.
