EVANGELISM & DISCIPLESHIP

By ensuring that it sticks to its objectives, the ministry has in place weekly bible studies, monthly prayer meetings and annual conferences. This gives them the opportunity to study the word of God and bring growth to the kingdom through salvations.

ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

As part of its mission, TWV has embarked on economic empowerment program for widows in dire need. The ministry believes in empowering them to fish for themselves. Equipping them for the market has the potential of long term success, restoration of dignity and self confidence, hence being able to feed themselves and their children.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION

Because of Widows’ vulnerability, there’s monthly food distribution for 107 women. This has helped them to reclaim their dignity instead of going house to house asking for food and going through daily struggle to feed their families because it adds on whatever they get from their small farms and the market for those in businesses.

SHELTER PROJECT

Shelter is a basic human need, next to food and water. Lack of shelter means the widow and her children are open to both emotional and physical abuse. Therefore provision of shelter gives the widow and her children Security as well as protection from hash weather conditions. Through the Ministry, the need is met by building them new houses or repairing the damaged roofs.
